How is a story that is nearly 24 hours old, and has been widely reported, "breaking news".

Fly 101 must been skipping that class. There is no way to tell the difference between runways. They look the same.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

What kind of defense system do we have to allow commercial flight to land at USAF base without being waved off?

I don't believe it was a mistake. There's more to it then the runways are close to one another. Dig deeper CNN that's your job!

How do you mistake a military airport? Esp since most landings of commercial flights are by autopilot...

There are a million pics of Delta A320's and you use a pic of Super 80 instead. Do you still wonder why you're becoming a joke?
-
lol. it's just a stock photo of a delta plane. Avg viewer doesn't care
-
Exactly what CNN counts on. Who really cares about accuracy and details, right? Thanks for validating their laziness.
-
that "accuracy" doesn't do anything to add to the story. It's just a generic plane
-
So exactly where do you draw the line on when accuracy matters? I'm sorry, but that's a fairly idiotic argument.
-
easy: when the picture actually tells/advances the news story: A war scene, actual crime scene, persons discussed in story etc.
-
Especially when there are literally thousands of correct images that were available, and someone was just too lazy to care.
