And how are we going to pay for such a thing? We cannot raise taxes. The lowering of taxes has done wonders for the economy. Trump knows what he is doing. The medical profession does not want this. Why can't you listen to the people who oppose this. They count, too.

Hi. Medical professional. YES. WE DO WANT THIS. Also, current health care COSTS MORE than covering Medicare for everyone. Do some actual research instead of just letting the news talk at you. Preventative care is cheaper and healthier for the whole damn country. Everytime.
-
Hi. Medical professional. NO. WE DO WANT THIS. Also, current health care COSTS MORE due to increased govt regulation and administrative costs. Do some actual research instead of just letting the news talk at you. Drs & nurses can’t care for pts properly because of red tape.
-
former healthcare professional (psychologist). WE DO WANT THIS. The ACA is an absolute joke for clinical psychologists, therapists, MHPs not called psychiatrists. And it only hurt my clients/patients
-
Omg costs me $$$$$$ out of pocket. Meanwhile we have all the money in the world for endless wars and tax breaks for multinational corporations and fat cats. Enough money’s there, it’s just allocated for greed and plunder instead of for the well-being of 99% of the American people
-
Medicare for all would cost over 40 trillion dollars just for the first few years, you could tax the 1% take all of their earnings and disband the military, and we still wouldn’t have enough money to fund Medicare for all, we simply have too many citizens.
-
Tax me - I still want Medicare expansion plain and simple
-
Me too. What the hell better use is there for money?

Let’s please not forget, that in mentioned countries often 15%+ of your monthly income is automatically taken away, to finance... Yet healthcare you receive is being rolled back, because being plundered (unsustainable). And waiting 3-6 months for specific treatment is standard.
-
Wrong . Wrong. Wrong.

This here is an example of minimum healthcare tax calculation: If you were to get € 3000.- p.m. gross, you cost the employer € 3900.-, you receive € 2000.- net & healthcare/accident tax(insurance) total is € 318.- And should you earn more, % goes up.pic.twitter.com/13il6DUPMI

I live in Taiwan, and we pay $3 to see a doctor. Tell me how Universal Healthcare would not save you money. Taxes are cheaper than the premiums.
-
I live in Canada. I dont have to pay for dr. app, hospital satys, ambulance, medications, dentist check up and cleaning, eyeglasses, specialist appointments, having a baby in hospital, doula's, phyisotherapy. I could go on. I have yet to see a medical bill in my life.
-
That sounds great! And let’s hope it stays that way. But in most countries she mentioned it isn’t that way.
-
I know, i wish it was. I know that's a big wish. But its such a piece of mind especially with children and eldery.

Canadian here! Universal health care isn’t something to be afraid of folks... ask yourself why trump and his cronies don’t like it... cause it will cost THEM money not you!
-
It will cost tax payers money money, especially the ones that don’t want health insurance. You don’t have a choice. I want a choice. That’s true freedom. Also two completely different countries. Shit doesn’t work the same. Healthcare should be left up to the states like it is now
-
So does spending %4 gdp on military spending, you don’t have a choice about that? Is that freedom? Just saying
-
You really shouldn’t be saying anything. You’re comparing apples to oranges.
-
At least that’s what the trumpets have convinced you right? Here’s a map for you green is country with universal Health Coveragepic.twitter.com/UXJXqYt0Tp
-
Your ignorance is very comical. What’s your favorite flavor crayon.
-
