There were probably hundreds of shootings in America last night and numerous fatalities. Why is this one a headline?

Because it is ok when the gun violence affects those living in poor communities. We expect it to happen in Chicago, right? Well,"things like this doesn't happen in our community" and it's unusual, right? (Denial is ruining our since of security, right?)
