So we're about to spend six figures to execute a guy for a crime he committed 40 years ago. Good job, government.

Absolutely! Execute them as soon as every appeal has been exhausted.

Apparently they caught the sob who started the latest CALIFORNIA WILDFIRE! Makes me think unsavory thoughts about the appropriate punishment! Death penalty is ‘t good enough...

The reason they haven't done this before is that most people die of boredom in Nebraska before they get the shot

While I do have concerns about our criminal justice system, I do believe that a streamlined and reworked capital punishment system is ethically and logistically the right thing.
-
Ethical? No. Never. I don’t want anyone killed in my name. This is a stain on all our hearts. I am ashamed of and very sad for Nebraska.
-
Death is a natural part of this world, and when someone presents a serious danger to those around them thta stands no chance of being cured, then I see no problem killing them.

If your convicted of a crime and go they all the appeals and your for sure 100% found guilty then you should be put to death just a simple execution bullet. Spending all that money on doing it human. Is stupid your strapping someone down to a table and injectibg him

Makes me happy. Im tired of killers getting life in prison. Cake walk 3 meals and a place to sleep. What good are they to society? Dont need them.
#notmyproblem -
I ask you disagreeing individuals... They take a life yet get to keep theirs? Maybe if we did more executions less would happen? How about America putting its foot down and saying no more!
