The stuff just like GMO should be abolished. You can kill weeds with vinegar it actually turns into nitrogen you make vinegar from apples and if you want it stronger you can add salt to it but the big thing is it doesn't kill anybody and you can make it for free

I need 3000 gallons by 6am. Going to be a good spray day tomorrow. Then I’ll need 2000 more gallons on Sunday morning also. Does vinegar distinguish between corn and Pig weeds? Kochia? Does it require a full PPE kit?
-
If you do need that it means you have not learned your job... Claiming you can't produce without Roundup is as stupid as saying you will starve to death If McDonalds closes...
-
-
There has to be a better way. Round up not only stays in the ground but it also stays in the air. It should be band!!!
-
The person prior said vinegar will work. It’s free. So I ordered 5000 gallons

Good bye @MonsantoCo lots of cases are gonna florish against you.
-
They won’t be phased by this. They control more than just RoundUp lol
-
they don;t control roundup. It;s not under patent.
-
They patented glyphosate during the 70's they have been using it since then and no long therm study was ever done.. these are the results, Monsanto, WHO, EPA and others are accountable for it.pic.twitter.com/N1AhyzFHVY

Yeah of course it was under patent. Nothing wrong with that. But it is no longer, as I said. Also it is safe. If you doubt it's safe you might as well doubt climate change is real.https://www.technologyreview.com/s/539746/as-patents-expire-farmers-plant-generic-gmos/ …

Cancer sucks, but a groundsperson is exposed to more than just roundup. Gasoline, other petroleum products, other pesticides, aerosols, plastics, asbestos, lead, you name it. Monsanto just has money and this case shows them as the best scapegoat.
-
Maybe..remember though, this is not their first rodeo.
-
Monsanto's? I know. But we forget the dose is the poison. Yes he was doused, but that's his supervisors fault. Poison is poison, but his cancer is one that, as the article states, has no one source origin. I feel bad for anyone with cancer, but roundup cannot be the only source

Chickens are a natural weed control as their diet is best with weeds and other plants. My background is IPM and agriculture with certificates and licenses in California. The amount of scrutiny I go through with the many agencies is not worth the risk to anyone I work with.

The few grows I consult today do the same things. It takes an army to force them to change their mind before threatening them with fines. Today, proper roundup use would put about 2 ounces per gallon of water. Less than 2% of the total solution. The concentrate is the issue.
-
Agree with that sentiment. I try and stay away from poisons. As you already know,
#IPM is all about pest#management, not pest#eradication. Our governments would do well to remember that people need the#freedom to#grow their own#food and their own#medicine.#cannabis - 1 more reply
