Is this escalation all because Musk couldn't take "No" for an answer? OR, is it the Media that couldn't stop needling both sides. It's so unnecessary. Musk did what he could. It wasn't suitable. But, it could be useful some other time. This should have been the end of the story.
-
The media didn’t defame the British cave diver on Twitter. That’s all on Musk. He chose to do that. Freely. Solely. Neither forced nor encouraged by anyone else.
-
I'm not defending Musk. I don't know the guy. But, by publishing Unsworth's opinion about the mini-sub after nearly a week, the Media baited Musk who fell for it and acted like a jerk. It's so unnecessary because there are more pressing things to focus on.
-
He’s a grown man for God’s sake. “Baited” into defaming a volunteer life-saver? If he’s that fragile emotionally he needs, at a bare minimum, to stay off social media. Nobody forced him to make a disgusting baseless accusation - that his sole personal choice.
-
Like I said, I don't know the guy. Don't know if his ego is fragile. I'm NOT defending him. This back and forth is so unnecessary. All I'm saying is, quite simply, it should have ended long ago.
-
Agree 100 percent. Bad look on both sides. They both had good intentions, the boys made it out safe. Wish we could leave it be. It’s like we found the one potentially negative thing about the whole story instead of appreciating the outcome.
-
No, it’s not. This isn’t “good people on both sides”. It’s an experienced previously unknown cave diver giving his considered opinion on the rescue mission he successfully took part in. And a world renowned businessman defaming that person for his opinions.

at least he offered to do something...spent his time and money to try to help..and that diver said that Elon can stick it where it hurts or something..what a world we live in..in which offering help is criticized nowadays
-
A) The diver didn’t say those words. B) The diver did “help”. You may not have heard the news - all 12 kids and the coach were safely rescued. C) nothing excuses defaming another person, by accusing them of child molestation. Nothing.
-
Exactly what he said.

it was defamatory and definitely disgusting a true revelation of Musk's lack of character
-
What he lacks in character, he makes up for in brains.
-
not disputing that. and yet i'd rather meet a good man than a smart one
-
If you want to meet a good man, you should stay away from that pedo guy who insulted Elon's brainpower.
-
that man helped to save the kids in the cave while Musk throws tantrums in the media :)) have a good day, Nick. Or maybe a brainy one, idk.
-
Yeah, but Elon invented a submarine which will be able to save many more kids in the future, something that pedo guy could only ever dream of doing.

There is something seriously wrong with this person. Name calling when he doesn't get his way. The Divers told him the apparatus was inappropriate for the rescue mission. He was also upset because he was removed from the site by security.
-
The guy Musk is going at it with was not and is not a diver. Reread the article.

Read: https://edition.cnn.com/2018/07/13/uk/thai-cave-rescue-british-divers-intl/index.html … t was Unsworth who initally pinpointed where he thought the Wild Boars team would be waiting. They were found 200 meters away from that point, which was "probably around about the best place they could have been," he said.
