Thats cute, nevermind the black teens currently sentenced to life in prison. I guess they'll have to wait a few decades before we admit we were wrong?
-
It’s a pity. When will there be a racially beneficial social change
-
When we, as a culture, stop trying to shove people into a category to make our own lives easier.

Wouldn't also be a bad idea to look into current murders of black teens

Carolyn Bryant is still alive and admitted to lying at least a year ago so there's still hope some justice will be served. She's just as guilty as the actual murders.
-
They just put her in jail and move on. She's old by the way. The investigation will probably last longer.

The government needs to address this travesty committed in 1955. They need to locate any relatives and give a formal apology. A monetary restitution would be appropriate in my opinion.

I remember the first book I read about this and the pictures of that little boy's mangled corpse in that coffin, then reading the racists who killed him being interviewed. I was so sickened.

Everyone involved have lived their full lives without regret or remorse. Soooo I guess we should expect justice for Sandra Bland in the next 63 years?

Damn shame
