Unless the US is now a dictatorship under Trump the NFL players should be allowed to protest in anyway/form they so desire and Trump should just keep quiet. Glad the NFLPA is fighting back and hope they win.
-
Trump started this national uproar.
-
There's a rational thought. Cause you can trace this back to August 2016 when he had a snowballs chance of winning. Do you know what month and year his inaguaration was? Ummm yeah, whoops.
-
I should have said he 'MADE' it out to be a national uproar. A divisive and hateful campaign to pit fans against the proletariat, (NFL Players)
@realDonaldTrump had no business getting involved.

Who exactly decided that the National Anthem is obligatory during a sporting event?
-
2009: NFL players began standing on the field for the national anthem before the start of primetime games. Before this, players would stay in their locker rooms except during the Super Bowl and after 9/11.

They can protest on their own time, not while they are doing their job.

If you really think players intend to disrespect the military by kneeling during the national anthem, you’re an idiot. No way around it. If y’all rebelled as much against racism as you do NFL players kneeling, they wouldn’t have to kneel in the first place.
-
Wow too bad you don’t even know why they are kneeling. It’s for police violence not racism. Try doing some research before you jump into sjw mode.
-
Hmm yea it’s for police violence due to cops being racist - get it

Good. Your employer should not dictate your values or your politics.
-
And they can fire you if they want to also.

GOOD! The players are doing nothing wrong. People in this country are allowed, by constitutional law, to peacefully protest. PERIOD
-
I can’t protest at my job while I am getting paid on my bosses dime
-
Yeah probably cuz you're not part of a union... unions can do that you know...
