For killing someone...? even if he deserved it the law isn’t “he’s a bad man so I can just murder him” for a reason. Glad she didn’t get the death penalty and 5 years may be harsh due to the circumstance. but she does have to face the repercussions of her actions I suppose
-
She killed him because she had no other option to escape. That is why freedom to marry and freedom to divorce are so important.

5 years too many but good news I guess

Better five years in jail than an eternal slumber.

better than execution

Doesn’t make it right

Here in middle east we are still living in the middle ages and women do not have rights in our countries. That's why I said it was better than execution.

He raped her, why is she in jail PERIOD
-
Because she committed a crime called murder. The law isn’t “if he’s a horrible person who rapes and robs I’m allowed to murder him”
-
Wow! With that mentality, I hope you don't have any daughters. And if you already do, I feel so sorry for them. If you don't feel the urge to murder the person who raped your child/partner/spouse then you must be out of your mind.
-
I believe u took my tweet out of context because if a man raped a daughter of mine or any women in my life or even not, I would have probably killed him too, but I would do that knowing I’d have to go to prison for what I did and I’d be ok with that
-
So why are you defending her sentence when this lady clearly was forced to murder her rapist before he killed her? She saved her own life!! You consider that a crime? But why don't you talk about the crime that her rapist did? He deserved to be murdered!
-
I legit said he deserved it. I’m not saying she shouldn’t have done it, I agree with what she did but if u kill someone u goto prison. Whether it’s right or wrong that’s how it works
-
I’d love to see her walk free but unfortunately the system is broken
