Don't buy it, grow your own! To Hell with these pharmaceutical companies. They lobby congress to keep cannabis a schedule 1, then try to sell it back to us. We've had enough of the corp greed!

Several years ago, I smuggled a Nalgene bottle of CBD oil out of Colorado so I could treat my son's epilepsy back home in Montana. Glad to see industry and gov't catching up. Much work remains.

It’s actually a dark stain on our criminal justice system that cannabis remains a schedule one substance with (according to its categorization) “no medical use”

Unless this drug is as cheap as the CBD oil that you can get from medical cannibus dispensaries don't bother. If you live in a state where cannibus is still illegal then at least you will have this. I hate that big Pharma is getting into this. Just another way to rip us off.
-
While motivations of big pharma should be in question, this is a milestone in the use of cannabinoids in medical treatment. Having FDA approval means the medication will have to adhere to standard pharmaceutical regulations ensuring the consistency, quality and safety of med.
-
CBD sold in dispensaries is not under the scrutiny of the same federal regulations and it is impossible to ensure that it is accurately labeled and free of contaminants. While this is OK for recreational use, CBD as a medical therapy should be subject to pharma regulations

This is ridiculously false. Marinol®, for one example, has been legally prescribed since 1991.
-
This! I don’t get why they constantly forget about marinol.
