“Induce a miscarriage” isn’t necessary here. The pharmacist failed to give her medicine recommended by a doctor and thus failed to do their job.

More information needed here;don’t jump to conclusions

The original fb post of the woman in question clearly states that the pregnancy was non viable. The fetus had already died. She and her DOCTOR had determined the next course of action. Pharmacists personal opinion is irrelevant. No assumptions

Under state law, Arizona pharmacies must require employees to notify them of drugs they would decline to fill because of "sincerely held religious beliefs." ...You should have to prove those "sincerely held religious beliefs"
-
You shouldn’t go in to a career where you know you cannot fulfill the duties!
-
You can hold on to your beliefs as long as, like
@Walgreens has pointed out, “they are required to refer the prescription to another pharmacist or manager on duty to meet the patient's needs in a timely manner.” -
And that part wasn’t done either . .

Is "induce a miscarriage" the fancy new word for "abortion"?
-
If you want to be technical. A miscarriage is medically called a "spontaneous abortion". If you read the article you'd know that her fetus had already died, she was getting medication to cause her body to complete the process.

This headline is inflammatory, insulting, misleading and downright egregious! This woman did not want to induce a miscarriage and how dare you use her pain for click bait! You just lost a follower today
@cnnbrk -
I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies, the paperwork says abortion. The problem is w/ words like abortion or inducing a miscarriage, we as a society act like only terrible people do these things. They are medically necessary sometimes.
-
I get you are defending the fact that people will act like inducing a miscarriage is a choice and she is aborting her baby. She is aborting her baby because she has to and should not feel shame, those judging should. Inducing miscarriage does not mean she didn’t want baby.

I’m with Walgreens on this.

So she should have to walk around with a dead baby inside her? That's nice.

Perhaps she should have a greater regard for life.
