How can DHS do this and then go home, look their children in the eye and hug them?!

They’re not human, right? That’s how people like you justify cruelty to children? It’s okay because they’re not white, right?

Its OK because they broke the law....like WHITE Americans do and have their kids taken from them too. Try to be a little less emotional and think!!

How about be less delighted in deliberate cruelty to children? Not that anyone can be persuaded to care about fellow human beings. You can’t be reasoned into a better human being.

Just because an illegal immigrant tries crossing the border with their child by their side doesn’t mean that all is forgotten, like mainly the fact they are breaking the law. Real simple solution to children being separated from their parents and it’s called better parenting.

I didn't realize is was the policy of our justice system to remove the children of anyone who commits a crime and put them into mass camps without due process.

What happens when a legal citizen commits a crime and cannot post bail or isn’t granted bail and is awaiting due process? Separation from family & society. They know what they’re doing is unlawful & shouldn’t put their children at risk, like I said be a better parent.

The children typically go to family. In rare cases foster care, but considering bail for a nonviolent misdemeanor (which is what unlawful entry to the US is) is $500 that doesn't happen often, if the person is even jailed. They certainly inform them+ don't remove parental rights.

What the government is doing is cruel and unusual, and most of the immigrants declare themselves at the border for asylum. They have rights and there is a standard legal process that never before required separation from children.

Asylum isn’t declared by the seeker,it’s an application process just like citizenship. Seekers aren’t able to bring family members to the U.S. until they receive asylum. If you are granted asylum, you may bring qualifying children & your spouse. Know the risk,be a better parent.

Declare means they claim or assert it at the border. Of course there is a follow up legal process. The whole family can declare asylum. It would be poor parenting to leave your child thousands of miles away where their lives are likely in danger. That's why they seek asylum.
