        1. Living beings will die! 2. If you love and respect your dog you do not send it as air-cargo - alone in a cage, darkness, cold, noise - without company... Easy to blame the airline in the end...

Exactly! My dog is a member of the family and I would never treat him like luggage. When we take him on trips with us we drive. A 24 hr drive verses a 3 hour plane ride sucks but his life is worth it!!

I just saw yesterday pet airways (smaller jets that only fly pets and only in the cabin) is coming back - I hope they get the funding they need https://petairways.com

It’s really dangerous to fly with your dogs, guys. It’s very stressful for your pet and crews are not equipped to monitor your pet at all times. You fly with your animal at your own risk, it is not a car ride.

If you love your dog don’t ever let it fly in cargo. Very stressful to the dog. How would you like to fly in a scary strange place with loud noises?

The danger is on the tarmac. Pets, like luggage could be out there for an extended period of time in blazing hot temps.

Owners need to know that it is not good to send your dog in cargo. Find another option.

I work at airports around the country and I can say first hand that these poor animals don’t get treated right. They’re left around high pitch jets running, no water, no food, poor puppies neglected during connections. I’d never fly with my dogs. Anywhere!!! With any airline!!!!

I don't understand why small dogs are sent via cargo. Pay for a ticket for them and put them under the seat in front of you. I would be arrested if they told me to put them in over head or some BS like that. I have always traveled with dogs in the cabin.

There could be kids on board with severe animal fur allergy. I’d rather have no pets in the cabin.

Never allow any animal to be put in a cargo hold. Temperatures and other factors are never safe or appropriate, which is why it's designated for inanimate objects.
