No, get arrested so emergency crews aren't put in danger later while they save your stubborn "I won't leave", ass from the lava.

They will send the police in to arrest people who want and choose to stay, so now not only the people who choose to stay are in danger, but also the police who are being forced into that same danger to make arrests! Make so much sense now!

No man, they will send police to arrest them well in advance of the lava flows arrival. They have the expected flow routes mapped so they know what neighborhoods to go to we'll before it is a danger. It will be a danger eventually though.

I identify as a volcano. The media’s vile representation of volcanos based on the action of 1 volcano in Hawaii labels me. All volcanos aren’t “destructive”. Check your privilege #CNN I feel like they use “spewing lava” as some kind of insult. We can’t speak our opinion?

How about: We told you to leave, we're not rescuing you. Why put 1st responders in harm's way for people who won't listen?

Imagine the headlines when someone dies because no one comes to help because they aren't going into the evacuation zone. It's lose-lose for them no matter what.

Folks that stay know they are in imminent danger. If they stay and die well so be it. Threatening people with arrest does absolutely nothing

Except that is not how people work. Emergency crews will want to save even ignorant human lives.

Let them stay. But no rescue personnel should risk their lives when the dumbasses realize that staying was a mistake. Or you can go rescue them

Likely as a threat to get them to evacuate? Look. This is what they are looking and facing at the scene! Who wouldn’t want to leave? I would’ve hightailed out of there. They sincerely want them saved, and once the place is stable, they can return. (I may sound naive).

I understand, but they shouldn't be arrested if they refuse to leave. If they refuse to leave and die as a result then that's their fault.
