Long long long overdue. The reckless stupidity has been allowed to run rampant for too long and the damage is irreversible. Oceans will never be clear of all those tons of plastic.
-
Once we ban plastic production we can start cleaning the earth. Maybe we can used the plastic in the oceans for building houses or building materials that will last a really long time.
-
There also may be a way to turn the plastic into carbon to use for filtering water
-
Sweden are way ahead of the game. 99% recycled. Thats the role model every country needs to follow but corporate greed is what stops other countries following their lead.

Now the US needs to do the same thing. Here's hoping 45 will understand the importance of keeping our oceans clean.
