Did you ask Jackie what is wrong with the other groups she mentioned? Or is it only consistent Reformed theology that should be challenged? What's wrong with the theology you hold to?

I didn’t need to. The point was to emphasize the final line: that we do in fact need each other, and that there are things that we can learn from each other. The point of your reply was that we don’t. My response to you was an attempt to point out...

the blind spots in that thinking so that you could see the beauty of the original tweet. There are deficiencies to Reformed thought, especially to the extent that participants in it think that there are no deficiencies in it.

My knowledge and love of the Holy Spirit has deepened most through Presbyterian and Reformed Pastors and theologians, as it was more deeply grounded in Scripture, along with both my understanding and experience of worship. How does this make me blind?

My point was to emphasize the suff. of Scripture. If she meant that charismaticism & Pentecostalism are where the true understanding of the Holy Spirit & worship lies, and that the Reformed need this understanding & practice, my pt. was, no, not where it is contrary to Scripture

If Scripture is our suff. auth., as a Reformed guy, I was seeking to be consistent with this principle. You implied, and I asked where, Reformed theology was deficient. You said the def. is especially the def. in the people who don't see the (still unidentified) def. in the theol

Among others, its deficiency is in allowing its proponents to assert that it has no deficiencies. Again, no one else mentioned in the tweet has an issue with how it’s worded but reformed stans. That *should* concern you, but it clearly doesn’t.

Know that many, most heresies and other grave errors made by those claiming Christ throughout history have been made by those claiming their positions were purely scriptural. Also know that those other groups with deficiencies, in your view, also have established their 1/

times only in the NT. The circumcision group’s only error was in imposing their interpretation on others, but taking that to the extreme of casting off brothers, and Paul lit into them repeatedly for that. Same with Paul’s split with Barnabas. Now, to the content of the OP; 4/

You may not be surprised that I disagree with your interpretation that this was their only error. Should I believe your interpretation of this? Why? Well, no point in arguing that out here. But I would ask who is imposing their interpretation on others here? Why is this relevant?

Jackie stated certain things that are true of her experience. I stated certain things that are true of mine. It was you who challenged and accused me, and condemned “most reformed people” as “theological fascists” who condemn as liars and unbelievers those who disagree with them.
