1/ Chinese court confirms Bitcoin protected by law. Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration ruled a case involving cryptos. Inside the verdict: CN law does not forbid owning & transferring bitcoin, which should be protected by law bc its property nature and economic value.

Was it banned before or something?

Before this, it was banned then unbanned, then banned and unbanned again, then banned and unbanned once more, then banned and unbanned yet again, then banned and unbanned one more time. So yeah, the madness is pretty much just getting started.

That’s not correct. It was never banned to own, it was banned to accept Bitcoin as a payment method for goods or services. There is a huge difference.

Ha I was asking for clarifications, a guy posted some vague misleading answer to my question. I replied what I believed was the status and nothing more. Feel free to contribute something mate.

I don't get it. When China says they ban crypto, what does that even mean? I never heard of any fines or real law to support that in the first place...

It won’t change until the price of electricity rises.... cheap resources equals cheap production. That’s the beauty of #POS because it’s practically borderless so far as electricity is concerned. You could run a PC on a solar panel.
