When I tweet that I need buttons on a trackpad, why do people reply that I don't? Do you really think that a computing professional with thirty years of experience somehow isn't able to reach an accurate conclusion about whether the programs he uses work well without buttons?

But if you have a heavily augmented UI (like Maya or something like this), it's just not feasible to use on a buttonless trackpad, regardless of whose it is, unless you completely redesign your bindings for the trackpad, and even then it's still worse, it's just not unusable.

and if you have an app (like almost any 3D project) that uses a middle mouse button, just misery on a MB trackpad + I keep breaking USB C mice when I throw it in my bag forgetting to disconnect. Luckily since it is now USB replacing mouse is like $5.
