I think I'm going to have to rage-quit @PUBATTLEGROUNDS. It's so incredibly bug-ridden, and they've never fixed even a single one of the bugs I've seen since the beginning, I just can't take it anymore.
Like all things, lack of sufficient competition means you don't have to execute well at all things, just one (or two) things. In this case PUBG hits a previously vacant design sweet-spot, so they got to sell lots of copies of a complete POS implementation of that design.

Not necessarily a bad thing, but it would be nice if some capitalism would kick in here and we'd get a really competent version of the same design next year, so I could play that without raging :)

Instead of a bug free version of PUBG I'm looking forward to clever and fun variations such as Darwin Project, in which some players get to be like a game master once they die.
