We focus on games because that industry is ready. Most other cool industries (architecture, etc) still think 3fps is "fast". They're getting there.

And also architects are used to working with a subset of gamedev stack, so maybe you do help architecture.

Rez is still the limit - it's always improving of course - but using a wrap-around virtual desktop helps a lot.
