Well, probably because not being able to vote is somehow not an anger-generating topic these days, unfortunately.
But it _should_ be. Especially with the widespread return of keep-minorities-from-voting laws we're seeing these days.
To translate it into an issue that is already seen as more delicate, imagine if it were sexual orientation related.
Like say it was "Click here to see where to obtain a marriage license" prior to gay marriage being legalized?
It's just not something that your service provider should be putting into your official office correspondence!
_Maybe_ you have a very accommodating workplace, and maybe it's fine. But maybe you don't, and Google doesn't know that!
So now that I've seen this kind of thing, I have _no idea_ what they might decide to put up there next! Right?
I mean how do you have any confidence in their decision making process when they obviously didn't use any caution?
