Apparently, people these days think "master class" just means "class". I guess I don't know what they think "master" means? Nothing?

No, this was in reference to a sheet posted in the elevator of my apartment building that said there would be "master classes".

The "master classes" are taught _by residents_, none of whom are notable, _to other residents_.
