I literally have not touched any settings whatsoever. That's just what it does.
Windows 10, right? I thought its DPI scaling for non-DPI-aware apps just meant upscaling in the compositor.
There is also the scaling property which defaults to 200% for me when running 4K monitors in their native resolution.
