... on Win64 it would work _unless_ there are problems with unlucky DLL injections into your process space. Not sure the rules.

The push to address-space randomization for security probably means OS architects aren't even considersing allowing that.

VirtualAlloc() already supports this, so Win64 can't disallow it at this point. The question is if DLL rebasing ever hoses you.
