@cmuratori Discovered today that Windows Defender spends 600ms scanning each new EXE or DLL. Disabling it shaved 2.4s off my compile time.

600ms is relatively small, but compounded over every EXE/DLL in every build over my 12 years of programming so far, it adds up.
