@Jonathan_Blow @cmuratori You've both expressed your hatred of Linux debuggers, would a debugger with an llvm/lldb backend be a dealbreaker?

Ouch, seems like one of the only ways to make it multiplatform. Are are debuggers doomed to be single platform?

But there's only one debug format for LLVM, so you just write something that reads it. I don't understand.

An LLDB back-end is specifically NOT cross-platform, right, because it doesn't do PDB/Windows right.

In this case I was talking about debugging on both Windows and Linux, but I guess that's not really multiplatform.

LLDB can't debug most Windows executables (x64 w/ PDB is not supported). Maybe someday, but not today!
