@james_austin Mostly just don't use templates or other bad C++ features, and use a single-translation-unit build.

@cmuratori@m18e@james_austin I have used single-CU builds with some success, but IME the compiler often fatal-error's past ~ 100-200 kLOC. -
@cmuratori@m18e@james_austin looking around, apparent solution is to use a 64-bit version of MSVC (so it doesn't run out of memory).

@cmuratori@m18e@james_austin I did some testing with SCU and (for vs2012) after some point compiler got much slower (vs. parallel build). -
