@cmuratori PBO would allow to upload texture to GPU without creating context for threads. Main thread would create PBO, map it to main mem,
@mmozeiko It definitely doesn't _sound_ like a good way to upload textures, but I guess we'd have to ask the IHVs...

@cmuratori Way back when PBO was introduced (~2005?) I think Nvidia recommended to use PBO for async upload and download of texture data. -
