@cmuratori@rygorous They just wrote a pack file, and then the only way they reduce the physical IOs is by switching to XFS :) -

@cmuratori Erm, that's exactly what I just described though. PAK-file style layout (just name+offs+size, linear) with metadata cached in RAM -
