Why are all the values in the Cycles renderer apparently unitless? That doesn't seem very "physically based"? #blender3d
@vassvik No. The reason it matters if because with no units in the UI, it is unclear _how the values are actually measured_.

@vassvik For example, there is an input for the light "strength". Is that "strength" per unit area, or total? -
