@cmuratori Is today the anniversary of bilinear filtering??
So... anyone know why Firefox ends up showing blurry resampled-looking images even when your PNG and IMG dimensions match exactly?

@Jonathan_Blow That would be pretty fucking fantastic. -
@cmuratori@Jonathan_Blow Do you have DPI scaling active in windows? Firefox uses that by default AFAIK.

@cmuratori Inspect the element and check the box-model tab, shows the calculated dimensions. Also, browser zoom? Link if you want real help. -
@NoHatCoder Browser zoom is 100%, and the box-model tab is the thing where I read the dimensions - they match the PNG exactly. - Show replies

@chronaldragon
@cmuratori Yes, this has been true for me for years. Firefox automatically scales fonts by my 'large fonts' setting in XP/7, -
@chronaldragon
@cmuratori and then to be consistent they also scale the images the same amount, and then even if you go 'view image' and it - Show replies

@cmuratori Does the IMG have padding or a border? box-sizing: border-box or box-sizing: content-box may help if that's the case.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
