@scottmichaud The one without may have to use lots of individual draw calls, one per texture.

@scottmichaud But the one with texture arrays can just put all that in one draw call. -
@scottmichaud The same is true for bindless graphics. You might be able to do tons of different things in one draw call with full bindless. - Show replies
