ARGH! So it looks like the problem is actually with Dell monitors - they sometimes don't support full res over HDMI, but don't list that???
@rygorous BTW, OF COURSE it depends on the cable I'm using. I should have bought MONSTER GOLD PLATED CABLES damn it!!!

@cmuratori No, but you need a HDMI 1.3 cable. <=1.2 phys spec is not sufficient for more than 1920x1200@60Hz. -
@cmuratori <=1.2 goes up to 1.65 Gbit/s per channel, >=1.3 up to 3.4 GBit/s per channel. Needs different cable specs. - Show replies
