@tom_forsyth That'd still be fine for the 1-texel pad case - you always add 1,1. The problem is you still can't do the scale.
@tom_forsyth Is that textureQueryLod() in OpenGL? That's what I use currently. But it's more ops.

@tom_forsyth The texel dim seems pretty fundamental and it's constant per LOD so it seems like it should be baked. -
@cmuratori You can also get total texture size, so divide that by 2^lod and there you go.
