OpenGL peoples SUMMON: so, what's the story with texture borders? They were there, now they're deprecated... what happened?

@cmuratori I dunno. When I asked about this years ago,@tom_forsyth claimed it had been supported for ages. -
@cmuratori@tom_forsyth So maybe it is in there, and it was supported and nobody used it so they're taking it back out of hardware.

@cmuratori@nothings It was supported by HW. By allocating a texture with 4x the area and not using most of it. :) -
