@komiga @Jonathan_Blow I'm old-fashioned, so, for me, if you ever call any kind of "new", it's already not a codebase I'm going to like :)

@cmuratori So, apart from alloc state (presumably 0) as init state, do you use explicit init functions after allocation? -
@komiga The majority of the time I use clear-to-zero as init. If there is (very) good reason, I allow an init function. - Show replies
