Can we please just make a five-year plan to stop having graphics APIs at all? Like, we don't have "CPU APIs", we just have ASM.
@katanadash Sure. Intel's LRB was actually one of these that was x64, even! But that is not necessary, it can be a new architecture spec.

@cmuratori Isn't an Instruction Map basically an API for a CPU? To look up how different instructions work on x64 vs ARM. -
@cmuratori This is just hidden from the vast majority of devs because only compiler writers care about actual instruction/memory interaction
