@mvandevander But it's all OK as long as you keep trying, I think that's the thing. It's about the trying, not about the succeeding.

@mvandevander If it's not about the trying, then the person who succeeds might just as well kill himself as the person who fails.

@mvandevander We are meant to be in motion, I think. And if you are in motion then you should feel good about that, whatever else happens!

@cmuratori I try to stay in motion, but it's difficult sometimes. I have a hard time letting myself have a break even when I need it.

@cmuratori I don't force myself to work anymore, because that burned me out badly. But I still feel guilty.

@cmuratori Sometimes I envy people who can happily just be consumers all day every day and don't feel like a waste of energy that way.

@mvandevander Yeah, I don't know what that's like - with the bag of cheetos and the remote control I guess. Maybe it sucks, though.

@mvandevander I mean maybe they _really_ feel empty about life because they don't even have something they're dreaming of making?

@cmuratori I don't know. It's not a mindset I understand. I can't fathom not feeling like my day job is meaningless slaving.
