It's crazy how Ubuntu _still_ has the problem that you can only use their updater a few times before /boot fills up and it starts failing.
@alexjc Nope, I'm using the default partitioning. I didn't do any manual partitioning. I just let it use the whole drive.

@cmuratori@alexjc I've never had a problem and I've been using the manual for a long time.Did autoremove whenever I remembered to,rarely. -
@cmuratori@alexjc But only till the last Ubuntu version.Removed them altogether,no reason for them anymore.So can't speak for new version.

@cmuratori Hmm. I'm on Ubuntu as primary OS since 12.04 & all our work machines are too, and that hasn't come up. Many other issues though! -
@alexjc Do you use whole-drive encryption? I always check that box, and I think that's what makes the partitioner do a separate /boot. - Show replies
