@cmuratori Wouldn't _less_ people be interested if it's confined to a single platform? Was there some kind of marketing push that I missed?

@cmuratori I thought everyone knew from the beginning that it was Sony exclusive. They said PS3/PS4, it was assumed that Sony owned the IP.

@cmuratori I thought they announced Sony exclusivity on day one. -
@dan_schmidt I was just looking at the news feed - I guess that makes me even more confused then. What is the jump from? - Show replies

@cmuratori I thought it was sony exclusive form day-1 due to them owning the amplitude name? The jump I figured was a push by insomniac. -
@Dingobloo@cmuratori it's been exclusive since day 1. It's been an FAQ since day one. It's jumping because we're pushing it like whoa.

@cmuratori Doesn't Sony own Amplitude? They don't need to make a backroom deal to get exclusivity. -
@mogwai_poet I wasn't thinking backroom deal, I was just saying that it seemed odd that there would be a spike at all on that day... - Show replies

@paniq Well, if he can find any money to use for pledging, that is :P http://in.reuters.com/article/2014/05/12/us-sony-bonuses-nikkei-idINKBN0DS1G120140512 … -
@cmuratori@paniq perhaps he's not pledging but investing randomly and hoping something becomes valuable enough to bail sony?
