Turning kickstarter into a pre-order service and PR platform twists the service in a way that harms projects who actually need the cash.
@MOOMANiBE I think a big part of the problem is that KickStarter takes < 10%, whereas Steam takes 30%. The incentives are wrong.

@MOOMANiBE If KickStarter took 30% or Steam took 10%, then you probably wouldn't get so many already-funded projects using KickStarter. -
@MOOMANiBE They could just use Steam Early Access or Pre-order or whatever.
