@cmuratori @bhsharp I thought everyone who patched it was also renewing their certs, though (or should be, anyway).

@KentInPublic @bhsharp Well sure, but once they renew their certs, you don't need two-factor to avoid the exploit either!

@cmuratori @bhsharp But pre-patch, they could get your user/pass and 2-factor would prevent them logging in.

@KentInPublic @bhsharp Only if _you_ don't log in. Make sense? If _you_ ever log in, then they can MITM you.

@cmuratori @bhsharp Sure. Though my assumption was they were just gathering user/pass stuff & didn’t have time to set up MITM attacks.

@KentInPublic @bhsharp If they're not attacking, then you don't really have to worry about 2-factor either...

@KentInPublic @bhsharp Just change your password today (assuming they got their new cert) and you're done.

@cmuratori @bhsharp Already did all that. But lots of hackers steal stuff & wait til a later date to use the data. MITM isn’t the only way.

@KentInPublic @bhsharp So, I guess I don't understand why you think 2-factor would be helping you here?

@cmuratori @bhsharp Because if they get my pass but *don’t* MITM me, they can’t log in or change my pass later.l

@cmuratori @bhsharp Before changing my password, it would have helped, I’m saying. During the vulnerable period.
