So, if I were a World of Warcraft player, would I be less confused about why I always see marketing artwork that has giant pandas in it?

@cmuratori I mean, I just never think of Warcraft as having pandas. Hell I _played_ the original Warcraft, and II, and there were no pandas.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@cmuratori@damianGray I've heard very good reports on Pandaria, at least art-direction wise. And that lore was always a mess anyway :)2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@LiaSae@cmuratori as a long time WoW player, Pandaria is very pretty, very full of lore and massively grind-y compared to other expansions.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@damianGray@LiaSae Ever wonder why places in games where, like, pandas come from is called stuff like Pandaria?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@damianGray@LiaSae I mean, _we called them pandas_, right, and we obviously didn't know about their homeland.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@damianGray@LiaSae So shouldn't it be a different name? Like if your dog suddenly learned to talk, he'd tell you his name isn't "Rex"...1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
@damianGray @LiaSae And furthermore, species are almost never named the same thing as their origin. Humans don't come from "Humania"...
