@nothings Yes, they always do say that, but then there does not seem to be any way to actually convince people to reduce the deficit _ever_.

@cmuratori BTW, 'the debt' and 'the deficit' are different things. Deficit refers to a non-balanced budget, i.e. deficit == debt increase. -
@cmuratori Reducing the *deficit*, insofar as that is even meaningful, is easy; requires putting us further in debt, but less than last year
