Is there a reason there isn't a 16-8-8 framebuffer format? It seems like the obvious thing for luminance-chrominance, doesn't it?

@tom_forsyth@JonOlick@nothings I'm thinking you would use it as a render target format? Esp. good because post-proc uses LC more than RGB. -
