I just sampled link.exe with a profiler and I want to cry. 18 second capture, 6 seconds spent in tolower_l().
@Poita_ @deplinenoise Maybe filenames? FAT/NTFS aren't case-sensitive. Which, apparently, when you're MS, somehow becomes a perf bottleneck.
