We are coming up on the 30th anniversary of software controlled PC shutdown. And it still has a failure rate of about 50%.
@utkarshsins Yes. Windows typically hangs on "Shutdown" screen, Ubuntu on the "Ubuntu" shutdown five-dot screen, etc.
