@pixel_cows Basically they're saying anything considered "FOSS" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_and_open-source_software …) is allowed to use their patents for free.

@pixel_cows I think they see it as an impediment to their business model, so their goals and society's happen to be aligned in this case.
