If you've previously taken a doom-and-gloom attitude toward climate change, keying off what you saw reflected in the media and online, it is time to take an objective look at the many solutions that are out there, and reassess.

By productive, do we mean increasingly efficient or simply just spending more time being "productive" aka working?

The short version is that education and health care is a game changer. Give humans a reason not to make more humans, and they'll generally only make enough humans to replace themselves. You tend to have lots of kids if you know several will not make it to adulthood.
