It's open-source. Did you consider contributing to it, if you do like that project (or if you did)? I remember I was once in the same spot with dnsmasq, I was just writing a patch and submitted it. Very friendly response ;)

I switched to 4coder, and did contribute a lot of code to the source for that project. Once I change from user to contributor, I due some due diligence to see what project is most worth my effort. GNU Emacs very certainly isn't.
